The Makiling Botanic Garden, located on the slopes of Mount Makiling in Los Baños, Laguna, is a 300-hectare sanctuary of tropical flora. Established in 1965 and managed by UPLB, it showcases endemic and rare plant species through themed sections like the orchidarium and fernarium. With scenic trails, picnic areas, and water features, it serves as a hub for research, education, and recreation, offering visitors a peaceful retreat and a deeper connection to nature.
