Supervisor: The Board of Directors

Job Description
The Interim Manager is expected to:

  • Assist the Board of Directors (BOD) in the formulation and implementation of policies, plans and programs for the administration and management of the cooperative.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the cooperative in accordance with approved policies and programs.
  • Submit to the BOD the proposed annual budget of the cooperative in accordance with the provisions of the by-laws and sound cooperative practices.
  • Report to the BOD the monthly status of operation of the cooperative.
  • Coordinate with different standing/special committees re programs and activities.
  • Exercise general supervision over the personnel and functions of the different sections/units of the cooperative.
  • Assume the duties of the Secretary of the BOD in his/her absence.
  • Direct and coordinate the overall phases of the business operations of the cooperative.
  • Maintain records of the cooperative in such a manner that the true conditions may be ascertained from time to time.
  • Implement administrative and financial policies of the cooperative.
  • Perform other related activities that may be assigned by the BOD from time to time.


Position Qualifications
Applicants must have:

  • BS degree in accounting, business or management course or college graduate with at least 12 units in accounting and/or management or economics.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience in a Cooperative or related business (banking, lending).
  • Preferably at least 1 year experience as Manager or Officer-in-Charge of a Cooperative or related business.
  • Must not be engaged directly or indirectly in any business similar to the Cooperative.
  • Preferably residing within the areas of operation (Laguna).
  • Computer literate and updated with current operating systems/applications.
  • Must not have been convicted or charged of any administrative or criminal case.
